The great poet, Stanley Kunitz, died this Sunday morning in just spring surrounded by the love of friends and family. His particular light will continue to burn as long as poets wander the earth. He was 101 years old. 1905-2006

I will miss him.
I'd say I miss you but you'd just tell me how busy you are. And I know you are. Busy. So, I won't.
He made me cry at the Dodge Poetry Festival a few years ago. He's the only poet that ever caused me to cry in public.
I don't even know him, or of him, but I feel I do, and I feel a loss, because I know our lives have crossed. We are part of one whole, each and every soul.
