True fact: I always wanted to have a dog and name it Sartre. Another true fact: Last time I had a dog I was 5 and I named him Joe and then Joe had puppies so I named them Joe 1 and Joe 2. This may be why god has not given me another dog.
Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for this blog--and by that, I mean, your whole blog, the images, the words, the poems, all of it. You already know how in love I am with the Picasso, how I kept coming back to visit it. Now, I'm in love with that turtle. And I'm also in love with your entry about thinking you were the moon when you were a little girl trying to coax turtles to the lakeshore with a flashlight.

I love this! "This may be why god has not given me another dog." Perfect. :)
16 dogs named Lisa sound wonderful
and anne, now that I have kids I am sure I will have to have one Fluffy or something.
I have this postcard hanging in my bathroom. I think everyone needs a little Sartre while bathing.
